FREQUENTLY ASKED WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY QUESTIONS

What is your style?

My style is modern unposed documentary style wedding photography with a relaxed, natural vibe. I have a Photojournalism BA, and I combine my passion for storytelling and shooting experience to capture as many moments as humanly possible to create your unique wedding day narrative. I am as unobtrusive as I can be and hopefully you will forget that I'm there so that you don't feel as if you have to pose for the camera all day.

Where are you based and where are you available to shoot a wedding?

I am based in London, and will travel anywhere to photograph your wedding. For weddings more than a 2 hour drive of London additional travel costs , and possible overnight accommodation in a Travelodge or similar may be required depending on the venue's location.

We don’t need an engagement session, can we take it out?

You may if you wish, but as the session is complimentary the price won’t change.

I would like to book an engagement shoot only?

Yes of course you can, just contact me for availability and costs (location dependant)

How many pictures can we expect?

There is no limit to photographs I take at your wedding but the final amount is usually between 400-600 images.

Do you do traditional group shots too?

Although its the natural and candid shots that really tell the story of the day, most couples want a few family group photos too. I ask that you keep it to a maximum of 10 which should take around 40 minutes so not to impact on your day too much.

How long do you archive your images for?

I can only guarantee to archive your wedding photographs for one year after the wedding. Please make sure that as soon as you receive the images from me, you copy the files to either a USB stick or external hard drive so you have a back up.

Do you offer bridal boudoir, portrait, couple shoots or 'trash the dress' sessions,  and how much are they?

I offer all of the above, please get in touch and let me know in more detail what you are after and I will get back to you asap

Do you require food and drink on the day?

Yes please, if your wedding coverage is over 5 hours, I will require a hot meal.

What equipment do you use and do you have a backup?

I shoot with professional Canon camera bodies and lenses. I ALWAYS bring a backup camera as well as batteries and plenty of cards etc.

How long after the wedding can we expect to see our photos?

I will send you a little sneak preview within a few days of your wedding, and the whole edit usually takes 4 weeks, but could increase to 6 weeks during my busiest time in peak season (July - September)
