School Hall Wedding Photography Michelle x JD
When Michelle and JD initally got in touch about booking their wedding photography, they mentioned that they would like to have their bridal portraits taken in Brompton Cemetery. As I'm constantly trying to convince my couples to use graveyards and cemeteries as locations for their engagement sessions, and Brompton is a favourite so I honestly couldn't believe my luck with these two! Just to be clear, Brompton is a Royal Park and we did apply and pay for the appropriate permits to do so.
CATHOLIC CHURCH WEDDING CEREMONY
Michelle and JD chose Our Lady Dolours of Servite Church for a personal connection that they have with it. I actually love Catholic wedding ceremonies, I find them so more meaningful and completely about the couple who are getting married. The priest tends to be a bit more relaxed as well, allowing the photographer more freedom of movement to get a variety of angles and a better capture of the wedding ceremony.
COUPLE PORTRAITS IN AND AROUND BROMPTON CEREMONY
Michelle and JD chose Brompton as they often meet here to eat their lunch together.
LONDON SCHOOL YARD WEDDING RECEPTION
The wedding reception and barbeque took place in a school yard and hall nearby. Michelle, JD and friends decorated the hall using multicoloured pompoms and the wedding cake was covered in coloured sugar flowers.
